   " I had a great trip to Africa (Kenya and Tanzania) with Big Cat Expeditions. I had seen videos of people going on safari and spending all day driving around without actually seeing any of "the big 5".  Not so with Big Cat!!  Saw all the big 5 - more than once - and up close. Folks at home were amazed at how close we were to the animals.  It really paid off to be with people who understood where the animals were and when to see them. Having heard some horror stories about internet accommodation reservations which were overbooked - I was pretty glad that we booked through an outfit that actually has people on the ground. Great India trip!

Highlight after highlight!

   " Last October I had the great fortune to travel to Africa with Big Cat Expeditions.   What a trip it was - I learned so much about wildlife as well as the value of patience.  Big cat know their Africa!   On our adventure with Big Cat we traveled thru Kenya and Tanzania and saw more variety of wildlife than on my 2 previous African experiences.  Our guides certainly knew their Africa.  My personal highlights were-

1. Watching a leopard sitting in a tree and then sauntering down and walking directly alongside our vehicle.  Leopards are notoriously elusive.  
2. A lion staring directly into my eyes for about a minute when wandering around our vehicle
3.  Sadly, but inevitably, watching a lioness catching and  pulling down an unfortunate zebra to feed her hungry tribe.  Nature at work.  
4.  Guides that seem to be able to sight what we could not.
5.  The African people themselves.

Tiger Mania!!!
